LOW IMPACT PAINTBALL

JOIN US FOR A GAME OF LOW IMPACT PAINTBALL AT CHAMPION VALLEY!

May 7 3:45 – 6 PM

Low Impact Paintball is for Girl Scouts age 10 and up.

Game will be organized and refereed by Champion Valley staff at one of their outdoor game fields. Participants will be split into two teams.

Thick long sleeved shirt (sweatshirt), full length pants, and close toe shoes required.

COST IS $35 PER PARTICIPANT – REGISTRATION CLOSES MAY 3

Pay Champion Valley for Bronze Package upon arrival.

Cost covers a mask, .50 caliber paintball gun, and 150 paintballs.

Girl Scout Volunteer Appreciation Tea Party

Sunday, May 21, 2 – 4 PM

We invite Girl Scout volunteers (leaders, cookie managers, treasurers, event coordinators, Juliette mentors, etc.) and their daughter(s) to spend a special afternoon together, creating memories. Adult and child friendly beverages and refreshments will be served.

PROGRAM AIDE/PROGRAM AIDE + TRAINING

Program Aide Training for Girl Scouts in Grades 6-8 (Fall 2023)

Saturday, June 10 from 7:30 am – 1:00 pm OR Sunday, June 11 from 8:30 am – 2:00 pm

Cadettes will work toward earning their Program Aide and Program Aide Plus awards by learning basic leadership skills needed to work with younger girls, and the role of a junior caddie in facilitating flag ceremonies and leading songs and games with younger girls.  Girls will also learn outdoor skills like fire building, pitching tents and more.

CAMP OUT SLEEP OUT TRAINING

Girl Scouts Cook Out and Sleep Out Training for Adults

Saturday June 10 from 2:00 – 9:00 pm

Prerequisite:  Girls Cook In and Girls Sleep In online self-study training

Participants will learn essential outdoor skills:

  • fire building
  • outdoor cooking methods
  • outdoor dishwashing and sanitation
  • guiding girls in planning a one- or two-night outdoor tenting adventure
  • trip planning, programming ideas and outdoor safety
  • addressing environmental concerns including leave no trace
