Monthly meetings are held at Saints Martha & Mary Episcopal Church (4180 Lexington Ave, Eagan) from 7:00-8:15pm.

 

Each troop should have a representative present to get materials and information. Childcare provided at no cost.

Camp Lakamaga

Piper Valley Encampment

This weekend is for Girl Scouts entering the 5th grade in the Fall of 2017 and older. It’s girl-driven! The basics are set by adult volunteers and the girls do the rest. During the encampment, all cooking is done outdoors, and activities are both indoors & outdoors – rain or shine.

Requirements or a least one adult for each troop attending (we recommend that you have more than one adult meet these requirements should illness or injury prevent your troop adults from going to camp). Both girls & adults need to register or renew their GSUSA membership to attend camp. Attend the Summer meeting on August 3, 2017, be RV Council trained to bring girls to camp, be at camp the entire weekend.

Designed for girls and boys who are 10˝-15 years old who want to be a safe and responsible caregiver. Includes babysitting certificate, babysitting guide, several informative handouts, a first aid kit and other goodies.

First Aid/CPR/AED Blended Training (adults, HS girls)

This training is a combination FA/CPR/AED blended learning session consisting of a 3-hour online training done on your own followed by a 2-hour in-person skills session. This training meets the Girl Scout guidelines for first aid programs and combines lecture, interactive video demonstrations featuring emergency scenarios that are likely to occur in a variety of environments and hands-on training to teach participants lifesaving skills. Registration is taken on a first request basis.  This training is not limited to Eagan Service Unit volunteers and is limited to 20 participants; so register early. If registrations exceed 20 participants, we will hold a 2nd session that same day. To register, send an email to gs.redcrosstraining@gmail.com - include the following in the subject line: Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED/FA – Eagan  – Oct 28 or complete the online form at https://sites.google.com/site/gsredcrosstraining/how-to-register/online-registration-formCost of the blended learning training is $32 which includes all supplies and certification good for 2 years.  Registration confirmation and payment information along with instructions to access and complete the online portion will be sent via email.  The online training course must be completed prior to attending the in-person skills session.

 

Girl Scouts recommends that at least one adult volunteer in each troop be FA/CPR-certified and that a person certified in FA/CPR be in attendance whenever the troop is meeting outside of its usual meeting place.
